Western Milling, located in the San Joaquin Valley in CA, produces a full range of animal feed supplies and relies a CHP system based on a PowerCommand QSV91G lean-burn natural gas reciprocating engine generator for affordable power and redundancy.
Winter 2003-2004
Solar Turbines CHP Installation gives Critical Power Reliability (CPR) to Montefiore Medical Center through '03 Blackout. Montefiore Hospitalwas the only New York City Hospital to stay up and running the first night of the blackout, thanks to the Solar Turbines Taurus 60 genset driving their CHP system.
